About
This amazing class is taught by country swing dancer Rick Harris and his caring group of instructors. Rick is considered the father of country swing in Nashville. He was the first to teach country swing in Nashville and has been teaching and dancing country swing for over a dozen years.
Prior to teaching dance full time, Coach Rick taught athletes how to perform at their best. Beginners find his unique teaching methods easy to follow which makes learning how to dance a breeze.

What to expect
Learn modern country swing from Nashville's top dancers and coaches! Come with a partner or learn solo. Our instructors will teach the class in a way that's easy to follow whether you're dancing with a partner or practicing on your own. Country swing is a fun country dance where people spin and dip. It doesn't require rhythm to look great, making it easy for beginners. You can dance country swing to any kind of music and it doesn't require much space making it perfect for bars, weddings or your kitchen. Class starts with an amazing demonstration with spins, dips and tricks! You'll be excited to learn the basic steps of this easy and super-fun partner dance. If you can walk, you can country swing! Midway through class you'll have mastered the basic step and will be having fun country dancing, but it doesn't stop there! You'll also learn an additional move to look fancy and add variety. There will be lots of practice and you'll get on-on-one time with the instructors if you need help. Bring your two left feet and be dancing at the honky tonks that night!

Meeting & pickup
We are in a business park with plenty of free parking. Enter "Turn Their Heads" in Google Maps. Come in the front door and our friendly instructors and staff will greet you. If we are in a lesson, just grab a seat or head to the right to our lounge. Cubbies available to store your belongings.
