The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Dotonbori, Triangle Park, Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum and Glico Sign. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up.

What to expect
Solve a murder in Osaka on this self-guided murder mystery game, a detective trail that turns the historic centre into your crime scene. Following in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes, you gather evidence at real locations: a coded message near Dotonbori, a photo task at Triangle Park, a witness statement that does not match what you saw at Kamigata Ukiyoe Museum. Every puzzle you solve takes another name off the list of suspects. The game takes about 2 hours and you play at your own pace. One ticket covers a team of 1 to 4 people sharing one phone; larger groups buy extra tickets and can race each other. Choose a start date and time when booking, then begin whenever it suits you - there is no guide to meet and no fixed departure. Stop for lunch, leave the case where it stands and pick it up later. A smartphone with an internet connection is required. Your investigation starts at Mitsu Park (Sankaku Triangle Park). After booking, you receive an email with your instructions and game link. Download the free Loquiz app before you set off, head to the start location and open the link to begin.
